BBC viewers wowed by Matt Edmondson’s Nicki Minaj tribute performance on Let’s Sing and Dance for Comic Relief
The Xtra Factor hosts stunned with an enhanced behind

VIEWERS of the BBC’s Lets’ Sing and Dance for Comic Relief were wowed by Matt Edmondson on Saturday night.
Those tuning in to the BBC One all-singing-all-dancing music comedy show were not ready to see the former Xtra Factor host don a giant fake bottom and grind in a Nicki Minaj tribute.
Matt, 31, opted to perform the now classic tune Super Bass by chart topper Nicki, 34, and he went all out to perfect his tribute performance.
The TV and radio host packed out his buttocks to give himself a more-than-impressive derrière for his Saturday night performance.

And he showed off expert dance moves while singing away to the song – without missing a single lyric.
Viewers were overjoyed with the effort from the Portsmouth born star – who went full drag for his racy performance.
One overjoyed fan implied an attraction to Matt in his female get up, tweeting: “I think @MattEdmondson makes a remarkably attractive female! 😍 #LetsSingAndDance #ComicRelief.”
Another found their attention drawn to the TV host’s padded out posterior, commenting: “@MattEdmondson you look marvelous 😂 #LetsSingAndDance awesome bottom.”
Meanwhile another viewer suggested Matt was better at being Nicki Minaj than the original Trinidadian-born American rapper born babe was herself.
“Matt Edmondson is a better Nicki Minaj than Nicki Minaj,” the impressed viewer remarked.
Let’s Sing and Dance for Comic Relief made it’s return to the BBC after a four year absence on Saturday night to raise funds for the major annual charity event.
It’s resurrection comes at a time when Lip Sync Battle and Dance Dance Dance have triumphed in the ratings.
Viewers for the new series were delighted to see Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins reunited on the BBC for the first time since The Great British Bake Off.
Again viewers took to Twitter to express delight, tweeting: “perfect, just perfect,” among other compliments for the pair.
While Matt Edmondson delighted with his performance on the show, he wasn’t the only start to send himself up with a dance routine.
Russell Grant also dragged up as Diana Ross for a rendition of the disco classic Chain Reaction.
Comedienne Sara Pascoe transformed into Sia to give a rendition of her anthemic tune Chandelier.
DJ duo Rickie Haywood-Williams and Melvin Odoom also stunned on the night by performing a medley of Will Smith tunes – including the iconic Fresh Prince of Bel Air tune.
And Absolutely Fabulous actresses Harriet Thorpe and Helen Lederer – in character as Patsy's long-suffering associates Fleur and Catriona – tried their best with an ABBA tribute.
