George Michael’s fans left devastated as the broadcast of his final ever performance is delayed

GEORGE Michael's fans have been heartbroken after the broadcast of his final ever performance in a documentary on Channel 4 has been delayed following the star's untimely death.
George finished the voice over for the film before his death aged 53 on Christmas Day and Channel 4 were due to air Freedom: George Michael this month.
However, the screening has been pushed back until later this year as the star is referred to in the present tense and they now want the film to include his death.
A source told : “This film feels like a huge part of George’s legacy.
"Although he is speaking and not singing, it could be seen as his final performance in terms of him making the film.
“He talks about areas of his life never previously discussed. It is vital the film does him justice.
“George has not had a funeral yet and with the transmission date just weeks away, the decision was made to delay giving the final version to Channel 4.”
Some of the famous faces who contributed to the documentary include include Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Mary J Blige, Liam Gallagher and Tony Bennett.
Another exciting element of the film is that the supermodels from his iconic Freedom video will be reunited on screen for the first time in 26 years.

Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington and Tatjana Patitz will all star in the highly anticipated doc.
Channel 4 told the Mirror: “Due to the terribly sad circumstances, we are taking time to carefully finish the film which will be shown later this year.”
Meanwhile, George's former partner Kenny Goss revealed he thinks the late singer's body "just gave up" after years of drug abuse.
Thames Valley Police are still awaiting the results of toxicology tests on George's organs to work out what caused his shock death at the end of last year after results came back "inconclusive".
His body has not yet been released as a coroner waits to see if drug intake contributed to his death.
The singer’s family may have to wait until later this month as test delays drag on - and until then his funeral can't take place.
When that does happen, he is expected to have two funerals – one for close pals and family and one for his extended circle of friends.
Details have emerged that George Michael will be buried in his favourite suit wearing a gold Cartier watch – an outfit selected by his family and close friend Andros Georgiou.
But The Sun exclusively revealed that the singer's family has banned Fadi from attending his funeral.
