She posted a picture on Instagram of Liam cradling their 7lb 9oz baby which she captioned: “On Wednesday Liam and I became parents to an incredibly beautiful, healthy baby boy looking like a dream.”
One pal revealed: “Cheryl gave birth to a baby boy on Wednesday, and both are doing well.

“This is the perfect Mother’s Day for Cheryl.”

Meanwhile, dad-to-be Liam, who is poised to release his solo album, broke his silence on their relationship in a revealing interview.
He told Rollacoaster magazine: “We’re super happy. It’s a very personal, precious time for us.”

“I know that’s what I was put on the Earth to do – to be a mother.”
She continued: “Of course I’ve thought about baby names a million times. I like Alfie for a little boy.
And the source went on: “This moment is all the sweeter for Cheryl because she has longed for a family of her own for years.
“She is part of a very close family, and that has always been so important to her.
“Her marriage to Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini was of course also troubled.
“So now that she is so happy and settled with Liam, to finally become a mum is amazing for her. She could not be any happier.
“And it’s lovely to see after all the tough times she’s been through.”
