Who are the Missing People Choir? BGT 2017 finalists who appealed for missing mum Natalie Putt

MISSING People Choir who starred on Britain's Got Talent have achieved more than making the final.
They have brought to the attention of viewers the cases of numerous loved ones who vanished, causing police to relaunch hunts for the likes of missing Natalie Putt, but what else do we know? Here's the lowdown...
Who are the Missing People Choir?
The Missing People Choir is made up of individuals and families of people who have vanished, and is led by the Missing People charity.
Members include:
- Peter Boxell whose son Lee, 15, who vanished in Sutton, South London, in 1988 after a football match.
- Peter Lawrence whose daughter Claudia, 35, was reported missing on March 19, 2009, after failing to turn up for work in York.
- Rachel Edwards who is the sister of missing Manic Street Preachers guitarist Richey Edwards – he mysteriously vanished from a London hotel on February 1, 1995, on the eve of the band’s US tour.
- Denise Horvath-Allan, whose 20-year-old son Charles was last seen hitch-hiking in Kelowna, a city in British Columbia in 1989.
- Sarah Godwin whose 18-year-old son Quentin vanished in 1992 in New Zealand, after coming home from school and then leaving for his job at a supermarket.
What boy was found after the Missing People Choir appeared on Britain’s Got Talent?
The Missing People Choir helped to reunite to a teenager, whose name has been kept secret at his family’s request, with his mother after he saw his face appear on screen during the final.
The charity confirmed the 13-year-old boy called his mum after he saw the show and said he is now “safe and well”.
Clare Cook, co-founder of Missing People Choir, said: “We are delighted to announce that a 13-year old missing child who we appealed for on Britain’s Got Talent during the Missing People Choir’s performance saw his appeal and called his mum.
“He is now home safe and well.”
And Amanda, a judge on the ITV contest, called the news “a dream come true”.
What have police done after the Missing People Choir appeared on Britain’s Got Talent?
Since performing on the show, police have since reopened the searches for missing Natalie Putt and Tom Moore.
Cops were said to have exhumed several graves in a cemetery half a mile from Natalie's home, but called off the search when nothing was found.
And a potential sighting of Tom Moore, who vanished in 2003, was reported after his photo flashed up behind the singers.
When were the Missing People Choir on Britain’s Got Talent and what did they perform?
The Missing People Choir performed the tear-jerking song I Miss You, written by Peter Boxell, and were immediately tipped as possible BGT winners.
It includes the lyrics: “I never thought I’d be without you.
"I always thought you’d be here safe with me.
"Maybe tomorrow I’ll wake up to find you.”
An audience member in London said: “Images of some of the missing people they were linked to also flashed up on the screen which had everyone in tears.
“Judges Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon were particularly moved.
“Amanda said they were an inspiration.
"You could tell in their voices how much it means to them all.”
Their tear-jerking performance was one of the highlights of the first episode of the new series of BGT and the choir went onto star in the final on Saturday June 3.

Simon told the Huffington Post: "We had something this year called the Missing People Choir, which was very emotional.
“They’ve got a shot at winning, I think. I remember on the day thinking that it was special."
