Car scratch fever

Piers Morgan’s fury as his Jaguar is vandalised just weeks after he scratched his Aston Martin as fans mock him with comical memes

The presenter was mocked for sounding like Liam Neeson in the thriller Taken

PIERS Morgan has vowed to find the driver who vandalised his luxury Jaguar XJL - but has received little sympathy from his Twitter followers.

The Good Morning Britain host vented on Twitter earlier today: "To the driver of a green vehicle that scraped all along the side of my @Jaguar XJL & did a runner.....
I will find you."

He has since been inundated with replies mocking him for sounding like Liam Neeson in the thriller Taken, whose character famously tells his daughter's kidnappers "I will find you aqnd I will kill you."

Some joked that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was behind the wheel, as others playfully suggested it was American President Donald Trump.

There was also a sense that the star was showing off the make of his car, which retails from £58,745.

One user posted: "You just had to @ Jaguar in the tweet didn't you Piers?"

As another said: "Possibly the most pretentious tweet I've ever seen"

A third wrote: "You're no Liam Neeson pal."

A fourth quipped: "Ooh i've got a Jaguar ooh let me tell everyone"

The incident comes just weeks after Piers' Aston Martin was damaged in a minor road incident in America.

On that occasion though it looked like Piers was to blame, with the star writing: "Left home at 6am for @soulcycle. Then I pranged the Aston."

Piers also received a tough time online when he revealed he would leave the country and never return if Tottenham Hotspur win the league.

The Arsenal fan is in real danger of having to cross the Atlantic with Spurs just four points behind league leaders Chelsea with four games still to play.
