Although Martine is now a Loose Women panellist, she revealed she was " absolutely gutted" not to be on today's show, presented by Andrea McLean.

She told Patsy on her clip, filmed in the back of a taxi: "I think I'm going to be seeing you next month and if that's going to happen, I'm so excited!

"I just wanted to say, you know this anyway, but I'm so proud of you and everything that you've achieved, and I send you a big big kiss as always."

This week, we revealed 39-year-old Londoner Dean, who played much-loved Robbie Jackson until 2003, he will be returning without his dog Wellard to join sister Sonia on Albert Square.

Despite re-locating to Malibu with her family, the London lass didn't rule out a return to the BBC soap either and teased she had been in the UK capital for meetings about new acting roles.

She told the show: "I don't know - I would never say never.

"And you can't go back in for one episode."

Speaking of her 20 years on and off in the BBC soap, Patsy said having the catchphrase "Rickayyyy" - which she squealed to her on-screen husband (Sid Owen) - had made her life "hell."

Talking about her former co-star Danniella Westbrook, who is currently in rehab battling her cocaine addiction, she said: "Danniella Westbrook is so sweet.

"We all went through our own struggles.

"It was intense."
