LISA Faulkner's sassy start to life in Albert Square went down a storm with fans.
Making her debut as Fi Browning on Thursday night's show, Lisa made an immediate impression telling a pair of cocky schoolboys she had tights older than them and to come back when they'd reached puberty.
She made her way to the Queen Vic and certainly didn't endear herself to Shirley Carter, wrongly assuming the licensee of the pub was the cleaner.
They traded barbs as Fi went through the pub's books and found out they weren't up to scratch.
Fi was at the heart of another moment that got viewers talking - stalwart barmaid Tracey getting a line.
The character is nearly always silent, but viewers loved hearing her voice on the show.
One viewer wrote: "I am loving Fi Browning already! @lisafaulkner1 Fantastic scenes from you #EastEnders x"
While another said: "...and you must be the cleaner! Brilliant 😂😂#awkward #eastenders @lisafaulkner1"
A third shared: "Lisa Faulkner........oh yes #eastenders"
As a fourth enthused: "Loving Fi browning 😂 So Funny #EastEnders"
And the social media site went into overdrive once again when Tracey uttered her name when introduced to Fi.
Excited fans flocked to the site to share their excitement.
One wrote: "OMG Tracy got a line!!!!!!!!!!!!! #eastenders
As a second calmly said: "Tracey got her annual line in there I see. #eastenders"
"OMG Tracy just spoke!!! #EastEnders" posted another.
For one viewer it was a first, with them writing: "I've been watching #eastenders for years and i have never seen Tracey speak till now"
