New boy Woody seduces an upset Tina on the roof of the Queen Vic
EASTENDERS' Tina Carter fell for new boy Woody Woodward's charms on Thursday night's episode, despite being a lesbian.
Still heartbroken by her mum's tragic death and missing Mick (Danny Dyer), Tina had a heart to heart with Woody on the roof of the Queen Vic, revealing how alone she was feeling.
Woody told Tina how he was "here" for her, while she replied in kind, telling him she like him.
The cheeky chappy quickly quipped: "Is that a come on?"
To which she said: "In your dreams."
Not done just yet, he added: "You're not the first lesbian I've ever had."
The pair retreated to the bedroom, where they cosied up as they continued to discuss their problems.
Unable to help himself, Woody asked: "What I don't get is why is someone as fit as you still single?"
Tina wasn't done lamenting, telling him: "I just feel completely on my own. Everyone I love leaves me. My mum my dad, Sonia and now even Mick has gone."
Reassuringly, Woody added: "You're not on your own. I'm here, aren't I?"
That sealed the deal, and the pair shared a passionate kiss as Woody began to strip off.
Fans were stunned by the scene, with one writing: "#eastenders since when did lesbians kiss men? Will Tina become straight now?
Another vented: "I can't stand him. The sooner Woody has gone the better I'll feel. #eastenders"
A third said: "Don't forget Tina has a daughter- so it's not the first time she's had a man #eastenders"
While another shared: "#EastEnders are like rewriting the characters personalities like I swear Tina was gay not Bi"
"Thanks #Eastenders for reinforcing this fallacy that cis men can get lesbians to sleep with them," hit out one viewer.
Just weeks ago viewers watched on in horror as Tina's mum Sylvie accidentally electrocuted herself in the bath.
In grim scenes, Tina went looking for her dementia-stricken mum after a power cut in the Vic only to discover her mother dead in the bath.
Earlier in the night, Sylvie had brought a stereo into the bathroom to listen to music and while her death wasn’t shown, it’s believed it fell into the bath and electrocuted her.
