SAOIRSE Ronan steals the show in the video for Ed Sheeran's latest single Galway Girl.
The Irish actress can be seen spending a booze-filled night on the Emerald Isle with the popular musician.
Following the narrative of the lyrics, 23-year-old Saoirse plays darts in a crowded bar in Grafton Street, accidentally embedding a dart into a mean-looking man.
The catchy Celtic track continues to play in the background as they hotfoot it out of the bar and join an Irish dance troupe for an impromptu jig.
Recognising Ed, from whose perspective the film is shot, the girls get excited and ask him to sign a magazine with his face on the cover.
They cycle through the night, paying a visit to an after hours tattooist who inks Galway Girl onto Ed's arm.
It wouldn't be a proper Irish night out without an old-fashioned joint with a folk band playing away on their fiddles and accordions, and the video doesn't disappoint.
Staying awake for the whole night, the video ends with the camera zooming out from the skylight of a house by the harbour, showing Ed with his arms wrapped around Saoirse.
The tattoo in Ed's video hit headlines in recent weeks after he revealed Saoirse misspelled the words, writing "Galway Grill" instead of "girl".
Ed, 26, said: “When we were filming it I meant to get a tattoo of her handwriting saying Galway Girl from her point of view.
“It actually says Galway Grill. G-R-I-L-L. She really took the p**s out of me — full on.”
Superstar Ed made his admission on the first night of the UK leg of his world tour in Glasgow.
He said: “I haven’t actually told anyone that yet.
“I’m actually quite proud of her. It’s the kind of thing I would do.”
The actress hit the big screen for the first time in 2007 at the tender age of 13 in Atonement, in which she played the younger version of Romola Garai’s character Briony.
Since then she’s had major and lead roles in Brooklyn, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Host, How I Live Now, Hanna and The Lovely Bones.
