Katie Price reveals huge Eurovision ‘regret’ and admits she ‘hated’ the contest after years of ridicule

KATIE Price has revealed her one Eurovision regret after admitting she hated the contest after trying out for it - but was ridiculed.
The wannabe pop star took to the stage back in 2005 when she was hoping to be chosen to represent the UK.
The British public used to vote for the act they wanted to send to the main contest.
The former glamour model was seven months pregnant when she tried out, dressed in a striking hot-pink rubber catsuit in BBC's Eurovision: Making Your Mind Up.
Katie was hoping to be chosen in a bid to represent the UK at the song competition, but got panned, with the position being awarded to Javine Hylton instead.
Speaking on the latest episode of her podcast, the 46-year-old admitted she wished she hadn't entered.
She began: “I haven't got any memories of Eurovision apart from when I was going to represent the UK in Eurovision and they weren't good memories.
Pod co-host and sister Sophie replied: “What was your song?"
Katie continued: “Not Just Anybody.
"The thing is I couldn't even sing the song then and I couldn't sing it now, yet I can sing.
“But I still can't sing that song. I hated it. The whole b******* about, ‘oh you're going to get a Sony album but you have to do this song’ and then they found out I was pregnant and then I lost my one percent.
“It's just all political stuff, as usual but anyway, that's always a regret of mine doing that.
“If there's any regret of any job, it was me doing Eurovision in the pink rubber catsuit being seven months pregnant. Trying to hide the fact that I was pregnant.”
Viewers were left scandalised by Katie gyrating to her entry in the pink latex catsuit whilst seven months pregnant leading to months of ridicule.
Katie set out to make a name for herself following her stint on I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Outta Here ! in 2005.
But, in the end she only gained 29 percent of the vote with rival Javine making it through in the end.
Last May, the media personality shared a video documenting her Eurovision attempt that was made by a fan on Instagram, giggling she said: "Wow memories lol. I couldn't sing that song then and still couldn't now!
"But still an achievement."
