90 Day Fiance star dies aged 55 surrounded by family after months battling horror diagnosis

BEN Rathbun, star of the reality show 90 Day Fiance, has died at the age of 55.
He passed away at his home in Greencastle, Indiana, on Monday morning, a source told .
Ben had been battling stage four stomach cancer, which he had only been diagnosed with at the end of last year.
According to an Instagram post on the 90 Day Fiance page, Ben had been too weak to undergo chemotherapy.
Ben spent his final moments surrounded by his family and wife Mahogany Roca.
He became well known after his story was featured on season five of 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days.
He was a 52-year-old father of four when it aired in 2022 and followed how he met his 22-year-old Peruvian girlfriend, Mahogany Roca.
The show chronicles the lives of couples who meet online and apply for a K-1 visa - which sets the 90 day clock ticking in which to get married.
The pair later appeared on spinoff 90 Day Diaries in 2024, in which they revealed they were married a few months earlier.
While their story was being aired, several viewers were doubtful that the couple would actually meet.
Some fans reckoned that Ben was being catfished during their online interactions.
But Ben and Mahogany went on to meet nonetheless, proving the naysayers wrong.
They confirmed their engagement in a YouTube video in 2022, while he was on a trip to see Mahogany in Peru.
His passing was first reported on the Instagram page , with fans paying tribute to the TV star.
One posted: "This is so so sad. My heart breaks for his kids and family."
Another added: "Cancer steals so many loved ones. It’s truly heartbreaking. RIP."
