How Taylor Swift’s texts to Blake Lively reveal deepest fears about Travis & details about her exes…& her brutal revenge
THEY were the inseparable A-list pals who shared their most intimate secrets over girly dinners and constant texts.
But the friendship between Taylor Swift and Blake Lively is 'broken beyond repair' - and now insiders have laid bare to the Sun the details of the private text messages between them.
The epic falling out comes after Taylor was dragged into the legal row between Blake and director Justin Baldoni, who she has accused of sexual harassment on the set of the movie It Ends With Us.
In a sensational move, Justin’s legal team claimed Blake, 37, had threatened to leak intimate texts from Taylor if she didn’t publicly support her in the case.
The allegation, put forward by Justin's lawyer Bryan Freedman, was struck from legal papers by the judge and Blake's legal team issued a statement which read: "It took the court less than 24 hours to see through Mr. Freedman's irrelevant, improper and inflammatory accusations, strike them, remove them from the court and warn Mr. Freedman that further misconduct may be met with sanctions."
But the row has proved the final straw for Taylor, 35 - as the private texts contain sensitive information.
"The text messages sent between them throughout the years have been about tons of different topics, their ups and downs, views on life and society,” an insider close to the singer tells us.
“But they are also about very private things - their relationships, ex boyfriends, Taylor’s love life, her great moments but also times where she was hurt and sad and p***ed at things in general.
“There were a lot of heartfelt conversations that have to remain private. It's two friends talking honestly about all kinds of things - society, people and life in general.
"Having them out in the open would be like publishing a personal diary. It’s very sensitive.”
Taylor’s initial insecurities over her current relationship, with NFL legend Travis Kelce, also feature in the intimate chats.
"Taylor shared a lot about her ex-boyfriends, what she thought of them, how she felt about the way they treated her - not always with nice words or being polite as Taylor uses the F word when she is p***ed,” adds our source.
"She would also ask Blake for advice about life in general, about being in a relationship with Travis.
“When she started dating him she got really overwhelmed because he was a superstar in his own right. She needed help dealing with that and asked Blake for advice, as she has been in a similar position being married to Ryan.”
Blake’s explosive row with her It Ends With Us co-star kicked off when she accused him of making degrading sexual remarks, including descriptions of his genitalia and his porn addiction, and asking her about her sex life as well as ‘nuzzling her neck’ in a dance scene.
Taylor, whose hit song My Tears Ricochet featured on the soundtrack of the 2024 movie, was dragged into the saga earlier this year when Baldoni filed a $400million countersuit accusing Blake and her husband Ryan Reynolds of defamation.
Blake claimed in press interviews that Taylor was with her throughout the experience and helped her with her audition.
She also texted Justin telling him she had “dragons” behind her - referred to Ryan and Taylor - after he objected to script changes she made.
Taylor was allegedly invited to a meeting with Blake, Ryan and Justin during tense moments of negotiations.
But the star was left fuming after she was served an official subpoena by Justin’s lawyers, amid claims she held documents that could prove her ex-bestie attempted to strongarm her into support.
Her team spoke out insisting: “Taylor Swift never set foot on the set of this movie, she was not involved in any casting or creative decisions…she did not even see It Ends With Us until weeks after its public release…” They added that her name was being used to draw “tabloid clickbait.”
Our source tells The Sun Taylor wanted to help Blake, but in a “respectful way”, not crossing any boundaries or crossing any line, especially in what is a serious case.
The insider added: “She doesn't like this type of attention, she tried to make things easier and ask Blake to stay in her lane.”
Now, Taylor feels her kindness has been used against her - and she’s severing all ties with Blake.
"Taylor just wanted to help and keep things simple,” the insider says.
"She is done with Blake. She is so disappointed and hurt by this whole story that she doesn’t want to deal with her anymore. She is getting rid of some of the stuff Blake gave her during their friendship.
"Presents, clothing, items for the house, as well as many other things she gave her. She doesn’t want them anymore.
"Taylor tried at the beginning to see if they could work on things, to fix the issues and see if they could move on from what is an extremely tense situation, but she feels she's being used and taken advantage of. It's not acceptable.
"She even invited her for the Super Bowl, but things didn’t go as expected.”
Taylor is now embroiled in the worst situation she can imagine - a very public trial on a very loaded topic.
The source continued: "Taylor has tried many times to save their relationship, but none of them worked.
"Ryan Reynolds was also trying to fix things, and Travis too, but for the best respective interest and to not make things harder, they just stopped talking and connecting. Ryan tried plenty of times to reach Travis recently.
"Just over two months ago they tried to meet for dinner, to talk somewhere at one of Taylor's preferred private spots but it didn't happen and the relationship is done for now. Taylor wants to move on from the drama.
"She is very disappointed by everything, she hoped it would go a different way. She really had so much love for Blake and Ryan. Travis liked them a lot too, but now it is over.
"Taylor feels that she was forced to take a position and speak about something that she has no involvement in, and that she got taken advantage of. She thought Blake was being selfish."

It comes as Taylor’s boyfriend Travis Kelce has already unfollowed Ryan Reynolds on social media - a sign that this A-list friendship is over for good.
Meanwhile, Justin broke his months-long Instagram silence over the weekend to wish his mum and wife Happy Mother’s Day - reminding the world that he fights for women’s rights, despite Blake’s allegations, and that he’s willing to see this It Ends With Us battle through to the bitter end.
The film's behind-the-scenes tension sparked months of speculation about drama between the two leading stars until Blake finally filed a lawsuit accusing Justin of sexual harassment in December.
Blake accused Justin and his team of orchestrating a smear campaign to ruin her reputation - but Justin flipped the tables in a new federal lawsuit.
He claimed Blake had created a campaign to smear the actor, according to court documents obtained by The U.S. Sun.
The documents claim Blake set out to make Justin the "real-life villain in her story."
In the suit, Justin said he and Blake started battling for creative control over the movie once they started shooting in May 2023. He included emails from the time to prove his point.
He also called out Blake’s husband Ryan Reynolds and close friend Taylor for getting involved in the project.
Meanwhile, Blake claimed in a lawsuit that Justin fat-shamed her, showed her nude videos and pictures, and spoke about a previous alleged porn addiction while on set.
She also claimed to have asked for "no more adding of sex scenes, oral sex or on camera climaxing outside the scope of the script approved when signing onto the project."
Nevertheless, Justin has denied all claims and is suing Blake and Ryan $400 million in damages.
Blake plans to take to the witness stand when the trial begins in March 2026 - so this is drama that's set to roll on and on.
