Strictly star Danny Mac reveals his REAL name as he opens up about upcoming wedding
DANNY Mac has revealed that his real name ISN'T Danny Mac.
The Strictly star was appearing on This Morning when he let slip what his birth name actually is - Danny Green.

He told Eamonn and Ruth: "Mac is actually my middle name.
"It was an equity thing, but Mac was always my nickname.
"I was always called Mac, Macca, it just stuck."

The former Hollyoaks actor, who was a finalist on the BBC dancing show, also spoke about his upcoming wedding to fiancée Carley Stenson.
Danny has been engaged to Carly since March 2016 and revealed that he would finally wed her in August.

He said: "I get married in August, so we can't wait for that.
"She's in Les Miserables at the moment, and she's the happiest I've ever seen her.

"But, bless her, we've been planning since the beginning of Strictly, and she's done all the work.
"We've just got all the logistics to sort now."
Danny admitted that everyone had been asking about what his first dance would be and said they would keep it "nice and simple".
He is currently appearing in new open air production of On The Town.
The new production is taking over Regent’s Park open air theatre between 19 May and 1 July 2017.
