LOVE Island’s Amber Davies and Kem Cetinay are thrown into doubt on tonight’s show when she heads on a date with new hunk Simon.

The news comes after the Welsh dancer and Towie hairdresser Kem were the first couple to be shown having sex on the show last Tuesday.

And Manchester-born Simon Searles ends up going for Amber after he arrived at the villa last night to shake things up with fellow newbie Tyla Carr during the contestants’ Ministry of Sound party.

While the contestants were speechless when faced with the pair’s arrival—Simon didn't waste anytime in getting on with the task in hand.

And he says he’s “really open to meeting someone that I have a long term future with”.

Simon revealed on last night’s show he was after Montana and Amber and was willing to "play the game" to get the girl he wants.

On bonding with the boys, he said: "The boys better be ready for some competition. It’s a game at the end of the day and I will expect the same if I stay in the show and another new boy comes in.

“I don’t feel like I have loyalties. I will be polite, but it is what it is."

When Simon finds out he’s on a date with Amber tonight, he asks her: “Amber, do you want to get test driven. Shall I take you out for a test drive yeah?"

And it appears that Amber is his ‘type’ too after admitting he likes “short girls”.

He adds: “Looks wise you probably are my type more than anybody. I always go for quite short girls, definitely brunettes."

And Amber appears to agree, adding: “On paper, literally you are my type. I've never met anyone like Kem. He's not my type but he is spot on for me.

“You're very good looking and on paper you are my type. It's been a good test for me and Kem. I feel like if you walked in on day one..."

Simon chips in: "You would have stepped forward for me?

While Amber confirms: "Hands down. And I feel like we probably still would be a team now probably."
