Love Island evictees Chloe and Sam say Jess told them she was ‘falling in love’ with Dom and their romance is real

LOVE Island rejects Chloe Crowhurst and Sam Gowland have lifted the lid on Jess Shears' feelings for Dom Lever.
Speaking hours after being booted out of the villa, the "friend zone" duo defended their glamour girl pal after it emerged she had bedded hunky Mike Thalassitis hours after she left the show.
Chloe said: "I was very close to Jess and she told me she was falling in love with him."
Sam added: "Dom won’t crack on with anyone now. He’ll stay coupled up with girls friendship wise until its his time to go and he’s said that.
"If he was going to crack he would have done by now."
Chloe told the Mail Online: "Everyone was so shocked [about Jess and Mike]. Not something we were expecting but it's one of those things, everyone will deal with it differently.
"I can’t personally imagine her getting it on with Mike but… you don’t know.
"I respect Dom so much as he’s continued to be himself and hasn’t taken any great opportunities to couple up with girls romantically, he’s just doing him and he’s got an amazing girl on the outside world.
"And if the rumours aren’t true, he doesn’t wantIISLE to mess everything up between them."
Sam also revealed he's unwilling to accept that Jess and Mike had sex several times after losing their place on the show.

He explained: "Innocent until proven guilty. We don’t actually know whether it happened so until it comes out, I’m not going to believe it."
Jess’s exit left her partner Dominic Lever heartbroken, in tears and threatening to quit the ITV2 hit show to be with her – as he can’t face living in the villa without her.
However, despite promising Dom that she would wait for him on the outside, Jess spent that night with hunky Mike.
A source close to Jess told The Sun Online: “Jess and Mike fancied the pants off each other from the minute they met – last night was the perfect opportunity to enjoy time together in private off-camera and they didn’t waste a moment.
“When they left the villa they dropped off their bags at the hotel where they were both booked to stay, enjoyed a few drinks with the crew and then snuck off secretly.
“They had separate rooms but the sexual chemistry between them was too much – one thing led to another and they spent the night in bed together.”
Jess and Mike have since denied anything happened - but have been caught in a series of compromising positions since and their accounts of what happened that night don't match up.
Chloe and Sam were voted off Love Island by their fellow contestants after a shock twist forced them to choose the least compatible couple.
While the ITV2 Islanders were devastated to see the popular pair leave, one person at home was jumping for joy - her ex Jon Clark.
He celebrated ex-girlfriend Chloe Crowhurst’s departure from Love Island with a pint and said “Karma’s a b***h”.
The Towie star was left heartbroken earlier this year when he discovered his girlfriend had signed up for the sexy reality show behind his back.
He claimed they were still in a relationship at the time her name was announced on the show, but she insisted they had already broken up, leading to a bitter war of words.
After Chloe was booted off the show alongside Sam, Jon wasted no time in taking to Instagram to share his glee at her misfortune.
Holding a pint in his hand, he posted a short video saying: “So guys after watching that episode of Love Island, karma’s a b***h, but you know, I ain’t bothered.”
