Sue Evans evicted from Big Brother after Emma Willis enters the house in bizarre eviction format change
BIG Brother's Sue Evans became the latest to be evicted from the house during a strange change of format that left viewers rather confused.
This week's "The Hunt" task - set in a "woodland area" - culminated when housemates were asked to pick who they wanted to stay out of Sue and Chanelle, with the loser getting the boot.
Sue and Chanelle, who were the last two left in the task, had to beg housemates to keep them - before their supporters were asked to stand behind them.
As Chanelle had been in the house from the beginning, all but one housemate - Charlotte - chose to keep Sue.
The "loud" and "boisterous" contestant was then quickly outed from the house - but viewers didn't get to see her leave the house, as they normally do.
After the commercial break it became clear she'd gone straight the interview room with host Emma Willis, who had overseen the end of the task from inside the house itself.
Viewers were left asking why the public vote had been apparently disregarded - particularly after the live eviction show moved to a tiny indoor studio this week.
One wrote: "#BigBrother stitch up! would be interesting to know who the paying public voted to evict?"
Another blasted: "Utter bulls****. Seriously, wtf am I watching. This isn't the Big Brother I've watched for years."
Earlier in the show housemates were told that viewers had voted to save Isabelle, who just escaped the final face-off.
The dramatic change of format followed Simone's secret eviction, which was also part of "The Hunt" task, and happened in the middle of Thursday night, off-screen.
Sue said she wanted to be a "memorable" housemate during her exit interview and denied she ever wanted to "live up to" her Hurricane Sue nickname.
Asked why she was so pleased about her exit, she said: “I am really happy because I wanted to get in this fabulous house and I got in.
"I experienced some crazy stuff but I came through on the other side and I survived and it will be a experience I will take with me everyday for the rest of my life."
Asked why she thought she was booted off, she said: “I’m different and if your different your going to usually be targeted if you can’t blend in quickly."
Channel 5 claims the normal format will return to the show next week though it's as yet unclear if the outside eviction studio will be used again.
Emma Willis revealed tonight that the next task will see housemates "steal" cash from the prize fund.
