LOVE Island's Tyla Carr was left squirming in her seat as she had the most awkward date ever with very hunky singleton Bobby - and his MUM.
The brunette nanny, 22, was back on TV screens last night on a hugely cringe-worthy episode of Channel 4's First Dates.
Tyla, 22, became a household name when she starred on racy ITV2 reality show Love Island this month.
Yet it seems her ambitions to bag a "family man" - and her unlucky streak in love - started way before she met 'muggy' Mike Thalassitis.
Yesterday, fans took to Twitter in sheer confusion as Tyla told the show: "I am a massive family person.
"He has to be a family man. I think if someone's a family man they are loyal.
"They are good with kids or want kids and that's the life I want."
Despite starting thibngs off on a bubbly, bright note, she was left wide-eyed in confusion after pony-tail clad Bobby introduced himself and his parent, who was perched beside him with a beaming grin.
Trying in vain to dispel the cringe-worthy atmosphere Bobby said: "This is a bit awkward - this is my mum."
As Tyla giggled nervously she was clearly stumped for words.

Bobby's mum then chirped up: "I'm not here to escort him," before making things doubly worse when she added: "It will get over that awkward 'when are we going to meet your mum'.
"It's done!"
It transpired that the red-head was also in the London restaurant awaiting a date.
Thankfully the show waiter stepped in to take Tyla and Bobby to their table.
Meanwhile many Love Island fans seemed confused at her dinner date.
The Sun Online exclusively revealed she had had sex with Mike hours after he left the sun-soaked villa.
One took to Twitter to quiz: "@TylaRosieCarr was that you on an episode of 'first dates'?😍😍😍 #LoveIsIand #TylaCarr."
Another quipped: "@FirstDates hang on isnt that the same girl on #firstdates as on #LoveIsland is she on all the dating shows? #TylaCarr," while a third put: "Nahhh Tyla Carr is either desperate for a lad or desperate for fame. She's been on first dates."
One telly fan mused: "Could it be...Tyla Carr from #loveisland now looking for love on #FirstDates ???" though another was more scathing, and put: "Tyla Carr's on First Dates (Channel 4+1) and I don't believe a word she says ! I pity her date!"
