Calvin Harris back with model ex girlfriend Aarika Wolf two years after ‘dumping her’ for Taylor Swift
The pair split up back in 2015, but they're back on and she's even flown out to watch him DJ in Vegas
CALVIN Harris is a lucky man: he’s the world’s highest paid DJ, he’s had five hit albums and now he’s managed to win back his model ex-girlfriend Aarika Wolf.
Insiders close to the DJ and producer tell The Sun Online that Calvin, real name Adam Wiles, and model Aarika have been seeing each other for “a few weeks” and that things are getting serious.
“Aarika flew out to see Calvin DJ at his Vegas residency at Omnia in June,” says the source. “She was in the DJ booth and gazing at him all night. They left together in a car at the end.”
The couple have also been showing their love publicly over the last two months – by liking each other’s Instagram posts. In fact, they’ve liked almost every single one of each other’s posts in the past few months – thirty pictures in total.
It’s led some keen fans to tweet the We Found Love DJ asking “are you in a relationship with Aarika Wolf again?”
Aarika, who’s a model, and Calvin first met back in August 2014 on the set of his music video for Blame, and started dating in October that year.
But in February 2015, Calvin met Taylor Swift at the BRIT Awards, where onlookers spotted them flirting and dancing.
By the end of the month, it emerged that Calvin and Aarika had split - with some reports claiming it was Calvin who ended things. The DJ was first spotted with Taylor at a Whole Foods in LA on 25 March.
They were then spotted at a Kenny Chesney concert, kissing in public, two days later.
However, it was not to be: after 14 months of blissful awards ceremony photo-ops, Instagram-perfect holidays and inflatable swan poses, Talvin were over.
A short while after, Calvin and ex Aarika got back in contact. They attended a Drake concert in LA with friends in September, but a friend of the couple tell us that they’ve got a lot closer in recent months.
“There was always a real spark between them,” says the friend. “Everyone’s happy that they’ve reconnected.”
This week, Calvin – who earnt £36.5m last year from DJing around the world and hit singles like This Is What You Came For with Rihanna and Hype with Dizzee Rascal – takes on Justin Bieber’s Despacito for the UK number one spot with his single Feels.
