Love Island’s Chris Hughes insists he and Olivia Attwood never split despite posting cryptic messages – and says he still trusts her
LOVE Island hunk Chris Hughes has insisted he never split from girlfriend Olivia Attwood, despite posting a cryptic social media message alluding to a break-up.
Last week, the reality star uploaded a photo to Instagram with the caption “Whatever makes you feel bad, leave it" – days after Olivia was caught kissing the neck of ex-boyfriend and Blackburn Rovers footballer Bradley Dack.
But speaking exclusively to The Sun's Bizarre column, Chris says the post was not aimed at Olivia and claims the once warring couple barely fall out.
He said: "We never split.
“I don’t know where that came from. My Instagram picture didn’t mean anything.
“We are stronger than ever. I’m a very proud boyfriend – we don’t even really argue anymore.
“There’s no girl in the world I trust more than Olivia. There’s no doubt about that.”
The couple had a tempestuous relationship during their time in the Love Island villa and have already split twice in the short time they've known each other.
But Chris, who supported Olivia at the launch of her In The Style range last night, said he has no doubts they're in it for the long haul.
He added: "She's the only girl I want. I know we're going to be together for a long time."
The hunk has been busy touring the country with his plastic baby Cash and says fans have come out in their hundreds to gift his "child" with new outfits.
He said: "I'm completely shattered after doing appearances. It's been nonstop since the show ended.
"Fans have given me cashew nuts and polar bears and baby outfits for Cash – everyone's been really friendly but some peoples will literally interrupt me mid mouthful for a picture."

Chris reckons he's lucky to still have blonde bombshell Olivia on his arm over fears he could be losing his muscly physique.
He said: "I haven't gone to the gym in over eight weeks.
"Thankfully my six pack is still intact."
