Elaine Paige OBE, 71, was born Elaine Jill Bickerstaff, March 5, 1948 and is an English singer and actress.
She is best known for her work in musical theatre in both the West End and Broadway.
Her appearance in the 1968 production of Hair marked her West End debut.
She was also the first Evita in the debut production of the show in 1978.
Elaine has also had notable roles in Cats and Sunset Boulevard
She's also famed for albums and tours.
What TV shows has Elaine Paige been in?
As well as being a star of the stage, she has had a long career in TV.
Her shows include Lady Killers, Tales of the Unexpected, Agatha Christie's Marple and Where the Heart Is.
Elaine also appeared in the BBC adaptation of William Shakepeare's A Midsummer's Night Dream adapted by Russell T Davies as part of the Shakespeare 400 celebrations.
In 2019 she was back on the box in All Star Musicals.

What has she said about her hearing?
Elaine exclusively told The Sun that she was secretly battling with hearing loss.
The stage icon revealed that she has been wearing hearing aids for two years, hiding them behind her famous blonde locks.
Elaine blamed her career for impacting her hearing, pointing the finger at loud music for battering her ear drums.
Speaking exclusively, Elaine said: “I’m a victim of my career having worked in the music business for over 55 years.
“Using headphones, singing with musicians and orchestras in confined surroundings obviously damages the ear.”
She now has to wear hearing aids at all times due to the damage.
