PAUL Hollywood was left red faced tonight, after being asked on The Jonathan Ross Show about his "flirting" with fellow Great British Bake Off judge Prue Leith.
The celebrity baker was teased by host Jonathan about his "on screen chemistry" with his co-star.
Paul, 51, was appearing on the ITV show alongside the show's presenter Noel Fielding, 44.
But it was Paul who was left blushing after Jonathan showed him a rather suggestive clip, taken from the Channel 4 show.
It all started when Jonathan said: "I sense there's a real chemistry between you and Prue."
Paul replied: "Yeah, absolutely."
Jonathan cheekily added: "And it looks, to me, it might go further. Take a look at this..."
He then showed a clip from last week's episode, during which Paul described how the bakers should create a cottage loaf.
"The shaping obviously is the key point as you have to bond the top with the bottom," he explained to Prue. "If they don't, the bottom will blow off the top so the top will literally fall off. So it's all about making both the balls quite tight."
It was at that point that Jonathan Ross' audience laughed at the suggestive innuendo.
Paul continued: "The way you do that is to drive my finger right the way through to the tray underneath."
Prue then saucily asked: "Do you flour your finger?"

He put his head in his hand and laughed and said "Or else it'll stick to the dome!"
"I could oil it," Paul joked as Prue grinned at him.
The camera then panned back to Paul in the studio blushing , with Jonathan saying: "Look at that!" pointing at a still of Prue smiling. "Now that is not just professional admiration!"
Bake Off is well known for it's innuendos, which all started with a reference to a "soggy bottom".
