TOWIE viewers were outraged tonight after Yazmin Oukhellou told boyfriend James Lock that mopping “is a girl’s thing.”
Fans of the show vented their disbelief at Yazmin, who has just moved in with James, saying that men shouldn’t be doing certain domestic chores.
The scene started with James telling her: “I can’t believe how domesticated you’ve become.”
To which Yazmin replied that she’d appreciate if he did more around the house.
However when James did offer to get his hands dirty, she became turned off by the idea.
She told him: “I don’t want you to be mopping up and stuff as that is a girl’s thing.
“I don’t think I’d fancy you if I saw you mopping about and stuff.”
And while James clearly didn’t have a problem with her statement, floods of Towie fans did.

Later on in the show Lockie and Pete Wicks did the washing up after Yazmin had cooked everyone dinner, so at least there’s household one job “manly” enough for her.
