Where is The Child In Time filmed? The Crouch End, Southbank and Shingle Street filming locations revealed

BENEDICT Cumberbatch's heartbreaking new drama The Child In Time airs tonight on BBC One at 9pm.
Here's the lowdown on the different locations where the TV movie was filmed in London and Suffolk.
Crouch End
Adapted from Ian McEwan's 1987 novel of the same name, The Child In Time is set two years after the three-year-old daughter of author Stephen Lewis (Benedict) went missing.
The key scene of his daughter going missing as he paid for groceries in the supermarket was filmed at the Co-Op in Crouch End, North London.
In the teaser trailer, Benedict can be seen racing out of the shop as soon as he sees his daughter is missing from the trolley.
Cumberbatch described this scene as “harrowing because the situation is unthinkable for any parent”.
During filming, a real Met police officer was on hand to reassure members of the public that the scenes were all part of the show.
Movie location firm FilmFixer organised the shoot with director Karen Everett explaining to : As Benedict left the supermarket, he walked with the flow of the public, no pedestrians were stopped for the filming so some people going about their normal business found themselves walking alongside Benedict Cumberbatch".
They also spent three days filming inside Hornsey Town Hall where they built sets to replicate the interiors of government buildings.
Southbank//Embankment
Benedict and his co-star Kelly Macdonald - who plays his on screen wife Julie - were pictured filming on London's Southbank in April.
They were seen walking together with St Paul's Cathedral in the background and lots of passersby snapped pictures of them at work.
Later they were seen filming in Embankment Park where Benedict was pictured playing the piano.
Shingle Street, Suffolk
, which brought in as estimated £44,000 to the local economy.
40 members of cast and crew, including Cumberbatch, travelled to Shingle Street to film in the picturesque surroundings.
"The production created a small train station set for the arrival of Benedict Cumberbatch’s character, before he strolled along the beach and land belonging to local property owners," reports the newspaper.
"An end of terrace house was transformed into a pub, before heading to Beacon Cottage where the two stars filmed further scenes.
