"It was the perfect day," he told Lorraine on her ITV show today.

"It really could not have been better, it was fantastic weather and it was all outside. We had a really wonderful time, it could not have gone better."

Speaking about his wedding dance, he laughed that the two dancers didn't have time to plan anything elaborate so just went with a standard sway.

"The first dance was very standard, it was a sway, it was a beautiful moment for us," he said.

The couple danced to Best Friend by Jason Mraz and Brad Paisley's Then, played back-to-back.

"We didn't have the time [to choreograph] we've both been so busy fortunately."

He added: "We literally took three days off to go and get married and then straight back into rehearsals. Choreographing a routine wasn't really [possible].

The couple also revealed intimate snaps from their woodland ceremony in this week's magazine.

"Carley looked truly sensational and so happy," he told the magazine of the moment he saw his bride walk down the woodland aisle.

"It was such a lovely moment that I'll never forget."

Carley added: "It felt so cosy and relaxed as the sun went down. We partied to the end and continued to chat, sing, eat, drink, dance and sleep under the stars. It was truly magical."
