Who was Bobby Knutt?
Born in 1945, Bobby Knutt (born Robert Andrew Wass) is a comedian and star.
The star was married three times in his life.
In 1986, he married his third wife, Donna Hartley-Wass, a bronze medallist for the UK in the Olympics, 1980.
They remained together for the rest of her life, with her passing for 27 years.
What would I have seen Bobby in?
During his career, Bobby has become a familiar face on British TV.
His credits, which are mostly focused in the comedy genre, include Last of the Summer Wine, Heartbeat and The Comedians.
However, he is most known for his role in Emmerdale, where he played Albert Dingle between 1995 and 2004.
Albert joined the village after being released from prison for armed robbery, and had two children - Marlon (who is still a character on the show) and Eli.
After continuing his criminal career, he is eventually disowned by the family, which caused him to leave, and he has only appeared once since, in October 2004.
Last year, Bobby joined the cast of the ITV comedy show Benidorm as Eddie Dawson.
When and how did Bobby die?
On September 25, it was announced that Bobby had passed away suddenly at the age of 71.
Tributes have already begun flooding in for the actor - including from Benidorm writer Derren Litten.
He said: "Very sad Benidorm news guys. The wonderful Bobby Knutt has passed away suddenly aged 71. Sending our Beni love to his family."
