Anastacia reveals she kissed a girl who was ‘full-on lesbo gorgeous’ – and she liked it
The singer - who competed on last year's Strictly Come Dancing - also revealed she has decided not to have children
ANASTACIA has revealed she previously "kissed a girl" when she was younger who was "full-on lesbo gorgeous".
The singer is currently promoting her seventh album Evolution and opened up about her love life in a tell-all chat with The Sun's Dan Wootton.
She told : “I kissed a girl and I liked it.
“Yet I felt like I was kissing myself so I felt like that was a little narcissistic and I didn’t know what to do with all of that down there.
"She was full-on lesbo gorgeous, and I was like, ‘I don’t know’. I was about 22, eyes closed, tongue all over the place.”
Anastacia, 49, is currently single and admitted she has chosen not to have children as she wanted to put her career first after having a double mastectomy in 2013.
Speaking on the Bizarre Life podcast, which you can subscribe to now on , Apple Podcasts or your favourite podcast provider: “I’m conscious of not having a child at this point in my life.
"When I was younger I wanted, so the word wanted, wanted, wanted, was there until a certain period when I was like, ‘This is not going to happen’. Like, ‘Imagine having a kid right now?’
“I don’t feel less of a woman by not having a child, I feel more of a woman by empowering myself to do what is right for me and not feel like I want to see me in a baby face.”
Ahead of her 50th birthday next year, Anastacia, who has previously said she would consider adopting if she was unable to conceive, is also quick to make another thing clear — her body clock has played no part in her bold decision.
She said: “Honey, all this works, don’t get it twisted. My parts are working.
“I choose not, that’s what I mean. It’s an actual choice. I have to continually make that choice or it could happen.”
Anastacia was married for three years to her former bodyguard, Wayne Newton, before they divorced in 2010.
But walking down the aisle for a second time isn’t a trip she intends on making again.
She said: “I know what it’s like to call the man husband and I really loved all of it.
“But I’m older and I don’t need to have that piece of paper as much as I needed to as a little girl.
“I’d like a partner forever type of thing . . . but it’s a choice. I would be OK to be living in sin.
“I haven’t found that one person in the love situation, but I’ve found my career and some people never find that, so I can’t be greedy.
“I’m not the one with two kids and a dog and a picket fence.”
