Michael McIntyre, 42, is an English comedian, actor and presenter.

He lives in north London, with his wife Kitty, who works as an aromatherapist.

Kitty is the daughter of the late actor Simon Ward and sister of the actress Sophie Ward.

The pair married in 2003 and share two sons, Lucas, 13 and Oscar, 10.

When is Michael McIntyre's next on tour in the UK?

Michael is hitting the road again this year.

His Big World Tour kicks off in a couple of weeks, with his UK dates taking places sporadically throughout the year.

Tickets are still available in some destinations but are selling out fast.

Michael's 2018 world tour saw the former Britain’s Got Talent judge performing across Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa and America.

Stand-up favourite Michael played his first UK venue of the tour on March 2, 2018.

He finished his stint in Britain on October 5, 2018 – where he will be performing to a crowd of 20,000 in London.

Tickets for his comedy gigs at London's O2 Arena proved so popular that he added a pair of extra dates.

And he also added an extra date at Wembley and Glasgow.

What time is Michael McIntyre's Big Show on?

Tonight (Saturday, January 19) McIntyre looks back over the highlights from last series.

The show will feature Gino D'Acampo, as well as previous victims of Celebrity Send to All Ed Balls, Alexander Armstrong and Carol Vorderman.

It will be on BBC One at 7.10pm.

When was Michael robbed in his car?

Michael was robbed by moped thugs in a terrifying hammer attack as he sat in his car on a school run on Monday June 4, 2018.

The driver’s window of the comic’s Range Rover was smashed as he waited to pick up his son in North London.

The crooks forced the shocked father-of-two to hand over his Rolex watch — believed to be worth £15,000.

It is not known if the star was deliberately followed and targeted.

After the ordeal he was spotted on the street comforting his children, who are understood to have joined him shortly after the attack.

What else is Michael in?

As well as sell-out tours Michael is known for being a judge on Britain's Got Talent.

He was a judge in 2011 for a year, alongside Amanda Holden and David Hasselhoff.

As well as that Michael had an incredibly successful run with Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow which took him all over the country showcasing different comedians.

He is a panel show regular and has appeared on Mock the Week, 8 out of 10 Cats, Have I Got News For You, Would I Lie To You and The Big Fat Quiz of the Year, among others.

In 2014 it was announced that he would front his own talk show The Michael McIntyre Chat Show.

It ran for nine months.

He is currently on his fourth series of Michael McIntyre's Big Show, which airs tonight (Saturday 24 November) at 8.10pm on BBC One.
