Insiders say the fight reached fever pitch after judge Bruno Tonioli praised her model looks on the show, saying she looked like a “movie star”.
A Strictly source told The Sun: “They think she looks cheap — more like a lap dancer than a Hollywood A-lister.
“There is a lot of tension and jealousy at the moment behind the scenes.
“Dancers are fiercely competitive and the arrival of such a glamorous new addition has gone down like a lead balloon with some.

“The claws are out and no one is missing any opportunity to have a dig.
“It has got so bad that when one of them walks into a room the others will leave.”

The Ukrainian world champion has quickly become the stand-out star with celebrity partner Davood Ghadami, 35.
But bubbling tensions boiled over during a group dance rehearsal after Karen, 35, was spotted rolling her eyes and criticising Nadiya.
A show insider added: “Karen has had a history of being short-tempered and snappy with the other girls.
“She felt Nadiya and Janette had made a mistake in the rehearsal so rolled her eyes and said in a loud voice that they were wasting time.

“Both girls confronted her about it. It’s reached the stage where they barely speak.”
