SHERRIE Hewson’s ex-husband claims she was to blame for the breakdown of their ‘toxic marriage’.
In a scathing rant, Ken Boyd has made a slew of accusations against the Benidorm actress, who has previously said she ended their “loveless marriage” in 2001 because of his infidelity.
Speaking to , Ken said he was sick of “being blamed for everything” that went wrong in Sherrie’s life, including her battle with alcoholism and her bankruptcy in 2007.
He explained: “Everything bad that has ever happened to her is somehow all my fault.”
Ken claims that Sherrie would “fly into jealous rages” when other women were around him and that her money problems started because her motto was to “spend, spend, spend”.
In the interview, Ken also claims he believes Sherrie may have been unfaithful to him during their 28 year marriage.
But Ken claims he had suspicions about her following her close relationship with an actor who would go to their house in Barnes, in London, to “rehearse lines”.
Ken added: “For years she has accused me of philandering, but that’s a lie. She makes out there were numerous women over the years.
“That’s untrue. I had one affair, which I have admitted to and I do regret.

“I made one mistake and she’s gone on about it for years. She thought I was flirting all the time. It was nonsense. If another woman looked at me she would have a go.”
Afterwards, Sherrie said she had forgiven Ken and told The Mirror she had “moved on from any kind of regrets or recriminations.”
