Tina Hobley has finally recovered following horror Jump accident that left her unable to walk unaided and says she’s going skiing in April

Former Holby City star was unable to walk or dress herself after an accident on the show in February 2016

TINA Hobley has recovered from the horror Jump accident that left her unable to walk unaided or dress herself.

The former Holby City star spoke of her devastation following the incident a year afterwards and admitted she feared she would never fully recover from her injuries.

But speaking to The Sun Online at Global’s Make Some Noise Night, Tina couldn’t hide her excitement when she revealed she was finally well again.

Tina explained: “I'm so much better. This time last year I'd just had surgery in three places.
“Now I'm much better! I'm hoping to be back skiing in April.

“My daughter is going out to be a ski instructor in Canada so I'm going out there.

“I love skiing, no one is taking that away from me. I haven't been on skis since The Jump but I think I will be alright.

“I don't know if my surgeon will think it's a good idea though…”
Mum-of-three Tina previously opened up about the impact of the injuries on her life.

She told : “It has been a really tough year, I’m not going to deny that.

“For much of the year I haven’t been able to drive, dress, wash my hair or have a bath unaided.”

In May this year, Tina also revealed how the accident had impacted her marriage.

Speaking on Loose Women during a discussion about sex robots, she said: "I'm still in shock about that robot.

“Would I do it? No, I wouldn't! Though with the year I've had my poor husband hasn't had much of anything!”

Tina spoke to The Sun Online at Global’s Make Some Noise Night in London.

The star-studded event raised money for Global’s Make Some Noise, the charity set up byGlobal, the media and entertainment group, to help disadvantaged youngsters across the UK.
