KAISER CHIEFS rocker RICKY WILSON has staged a spectacular late bid to be crowned my Caner of the Year.
The former Voice coach brought carnage to a big bash in London with a booze-fuelled rampage.
It featured an X-rated rant about OLLY MURS, falling over a barrier three times and being mistaken for a drunken fan by Hollywood A-lister CATE BLANCHETT’s protection team.
To top off his epic Sunday evening at the Evening Standard Theatre Awards, he was asked to leave by security and then couldn’t find his cab home.
A source said: “Ricky was the highlight of the event for many of the guests.
“He turned up looking like he’d had a couple of pre-drinks then made the most of the free wine at the table during the meal.
“After chatting to Cate on the red carpet he went to speak to her again at her table but her over-zealous security thought he was a random fan and ushered him away from her. He was next seen storming on to the smoking terrace, when he stacked it three times on a barrier.”
Ricky shared a table with celebs including ALAN CARR and MELANIE SYKES, who distanced themselves from him after he got a touch too rowdy.
Mel would have been particularly uncomfortable as Ricky started ranting about her latest boyfriend Olly, who recently got a job on The Voice, taking over Ricky’s spinning chair.
Ricky called him a “c***”, which was the final straw for security. When he finally left the Theatre Royal Drury Lane he couldn’t find his car and asked bemused cabbies where it was parked.
Given the growing trend for celebrities to stay sensible at award shows, it’s refreshing to see the rocker show how it’s done.
I wouldn’t fancy his hangover, mind.

EDDING FOR ANOTHER DUET
EMINEM has joined a growing list of top artists to get a collaboration with ED SHEERAN.
Days after announcing his duet with BEYONCE on Perfect, Ed features on River on the rapper’s new album Revival, due out on December 15.
Eminem yesterday tweeted the entire tracklist and as well as Ed, it features other surprise collaborations with PINK, ALICIA KEYS, KEHLANI, SKYLAR GREY, X AMBASSADORS and PHRESHER.
With those names, it’s no surprise he didn’t bother adding a caption alongside the post.

BRITS’ Critics Choice winner JORJA SMITH is already on the radar of one British artist.
I can reveal the up-and-comer is dating R&B singer and producer JOEL COMPASS. They found love while writing tunes for her debut album.
After keeping their romance under wraps for six months, the couple were seen watching the sunrise from Primrose Hill in London on Saturday.
A source said: “Joel’s one of the hottest producers around and has been showing Jorja the ropes after she moved to London to focus full-time on her career.
“There was an attraction and one thing led to another while they were working in the studio. He’s taken her under his wing.”
Joel, who released debut album Astronaut in 2013, rose to fame after dueting with CHERYL on her track Coming Up For Air. He then quit singing for song-writing and penned hits for RUDIMENTAL, FKA TWIGS and TINASHE.
Jorja made her breakthrough last year, featuring on two tracks by DRAKE and scoring a club hit with On My Mind. Her solo singles Beautiful Little Fools, Teenage Fantasy and Where Did I Go? have had millions of streams.
Jorja and Joel could be music’s new power couple.

MELANIE SYKES having a thing for younger men won’t come as much of a shock to OLLY MURS.
I told last month how telly host Mel is dating pop star Olly who is 14 years her junior.
But the divorced mum of two says the reason she goes younger is because men her own age are too scared to ask her out. Mel said: “Age is irrelevant. Younger men are often attracted to me, and very open with me.
“Men of my age tend to have shut down in some way, or they’re not as confident.”
Mel and Olly bonded over a mutual love of football and the gym. When asked if she could fall in love again, she added in Woman’s Own magazine: “I love being in love. It’s a great feeling.
“But I’m not going to define myself by a bloke.”
Not unless they are at least ten years younger than her and very confident . . .
