I'M A Celebrity's Dennis Wise has spoke of his "shock" at suggestions he bullied Iain Lee during his time in camp and insisted they got on "very well."
In an interview with Good Morning Britain today, Dennis even revealed plans for the pair to meet up back in the UK.
In the chat with Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway on today's Good Morning Britain, Dennis, 50, vehemently denied any suggestion he was picking on the TalkRADIO host - and instead revealed he's bagged him complimentary tickets for a Chelsea FC game with his kids.
Dennis confessed: "I was shocked. I have got tickets for him and his kids to go to Chelsea."
Last night, we reported how fans celebrated as the former footballer was booted out of the ITV show.
He had been accused of bullying the radio DJ after he told Iain he shouldn't do a Bushtucker trial, in case he failed, because he wasn't good enough.
He continued to insist they were in fact good pals as he dished up details of their off-camera conversations and added: "We are going to his new talk show, then all of us are going to go to Amir's boxing in February, when he's got his first fight.
"And I am going to meet (Iain) in Gerrards Cross where his mum is in a care home."
Dennis, who was a hero among Chelsea fans in his football heyday, even went as far as to name the restaurant they would be eating in afterwards - contemporary brasserie Wildwood.
With a serious expression, he continued: "I am a little bit shocked at what's happened.
"We got on very well."
He then insisted broadcaster ITV "wouldn't allow" bullying in the jungle, to which host Ben agreed.
The sports ace - who revealed he shed 7kg off his 68kg weight during his time in the Aussie camp - went on to address his own ribbing at the hands of Declan Donnelly.
The cheeky Geordie incessantly poked fun at Dennis' height - despite being proved to be the same size as him.
Dennis told how he had caught up on the banter by re-watching the show and said: "How funny was that?
"It was hilarious. I thought it was fantastic."
Former campmate Kezia Dugdale defended him and said Dennis was struggling with the lack of food, but fans were furious after his cruel comments.
When Ant and Dec announced Dennis was leaving, many viewers said they were grateful people hadn't picked up the phone to keep him in the jungle.
During his exit interview, he thanked his family, friends and fans for supporting him throughout the competition.
