Eric Cowell waves goodbye to jet-skiing dad Simon on family holiday in Barbados
ERIC Cowell looks like a chip off the old block while giving his dad Simon a wave as he heads off to his jet ski on the beach in Barbados.
The three-year-old son of the music mogul held on to his mum Lauren Silverman's hand and tried to keep the sun out of his eyes.
The family of three have been enjoying the high life - and jet skiing - in Barbados this week, as is a Christmas tradition for Simon.
And Eric has been right by his dad's side for the sunny festivities - though luckily he is yet to pick up a similar tan to his dad.
Today the toddler wore a pair of tropical shorts with a T-shirt and a black cap to keep the sun off.
Meanwhile his American mum, 39, sported a white bathing suit with a colourful sarong as she sipped a drink and let Simon do a spot of jet skiing solo for a change.
Accompanying the family were a gaggle of bodyguards to ensure their safety - or perhaps to stop Simon falling over.
He was later seen giving snappers a thumbs up to confirm he was okay - but had his shoe laces untied.
Thankfully Simon now feels well enough to cruise the Barbadian waves and soak up as much sunlight as is humanly possible.

The popular music manager also posed with numerous fans on the beach before his jet ski adventure today.
Simon is known for his warmth when approached by fans and has been particularly open to photo ops on this holiday.
Eric has been given a fine introduction to showbiz in the last month thanks to his dad's willingness to bring him on to X Factor.
The littl'un was given the task of introducing the quarter finals via a microphone and did a grand job - if the cooing Twitter comments were anything to go by.
One fan tweeted about him: "Baby #Ericcowell is so cute #Xfactor 😍😍😍" as another gushed: "Cute little Eric 😍😍 mini Simon Cowell in the rehearsals 😂 #xfactor."
A third posted: "And this years X factor winner goes to... Eric cowell 😍😍😍@SimonCowell he is too much! #xfactor2017," as one continued: "Eric is adorable #TheXFactor."
Another then rounded off with: "Eric is adorable holy s***."
Last month Eric was also seen out with Simon and Lauren enjoying some quality time at Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park.
Previously, Simon has said being in a stable relationship with Lauren and looking after their son Eric has made life much more fulfilling.
He told the : “Eric is absolutely incredible and so funny. It [being a father] is the best thing that ever happened to me.”
Property tycoon Andrew was livid when he found out his friend had slept with his wife, and filed for divorce, citing adultery - at the same time Lauren was revealed as ten weeks pregnant.
But The Mail on Sunday claimed Andrew and Simon - who is dad to Lauren's son Eric, three - have officially "buried the hatchet" after Andrew sent Simon texts about his mother's death this year.
Lauren and Simon are allegedly even planning to holiday as a foursome with Andrew's new wife.
