Celebrity Big Brother fans fumed as Maggie Oliver was announced as the third star to leave the house.
They were furious after Ann Widdecombe was saved over the former copper.
Maggie looked shocked as she left the house and was greeted by a chorus of cheers.
Although she was graceful in defeat, Maggie couldn't hide a look of disappointment as she walked out.
She said in her exit interview: “I’ve got mixed feelings. I’m looking forward to seeing my kids.
“I feel I’ve made friends in the house.
“I would have liked to stay to the end. I wasn’t bothered about winning but I am sad I am out.”
“I thought there might be a twist but I put it out of my mind. This is a game show. I came in without a following. I’ve never been on Twitter…
“I’m grateful for going in there. I hope I’ve come across as a strong independent woman.”
Fans were seething about the decision.
One fan tweeted: “Who didn’t vote for Maggie but voted for Ann?”
Another wrote: “I won't forgive Ann for replacing Daniel with Maggie in this weeks eviction!”
A third said: “Maggie has gone too soon, gutted. Cheers Ann.”
During her exit interview, Maggie hit back at Ann and called her a hypocrite.
Rachel Johnson was the first star to be kicked out of the house tonight.
She shocked fans when she revealed their housemate Andrew Brady had his testicles pierced.
Speaking about her time in the house, the journalist said: “It's more fun than you could ever imagine but it is tough in there. If you're a control freak like me and always right, it was hard.
“You're also in a confined space but the guys in there are magnificent. The public have spoken. I'm actually happy that the public has spoken. I was ready. It's the funnest time I've ever had but I was ready [to go].”
Asked by host Emma Willis if her time with Ann in the house was as she expected, she said: “Pretty much.
“We did have another scrap today because she kept calling me bossy and I was trying so hard not to be bossy.
“I finally realised that she'd been quite spiky with the women in the house but when men did the task, she really stuck up for the men.

“She favourited them and she obviously prefers male company. I don't want to spoil it but I will tell you I just said to her, you're not just an anti-feminist, you're a misogynist
“And she said, 'No I'm not' and she started to think of people she admired - Mother Theresa, Margaret Thatcher. So you find two women in the whole of history that you admire, but it's been great having her in the house.”
Emma raised eyebrows at the start of tonight's double eviction with her choice of outfit.
The usually fashion-forward star opted for a long, silk dress which had a black trim.
Her choice led fans to mock her online, with one asking her: “Emma, why are you in your nightie?”
