ASANDA Jezile is hoping that the strong, tribal beat of her song Legends will have her marching into the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 to represent the UK.
The 16-year-old says she's been singing 'all of her life' and when she performed for the judges on Britain's Got Talent, aged 11, she received a barrage of praise.
Who is Asanda and how old is she?
Asanda Jezile was born on September 17th, 2001.
The 16-year-old was a competitor and finalist on Britain's Got Talent 2013 when she was just 11.
She auditioned for the show with the song Diamonds by Rihanna and whilst her performance received praise it also caused some controversy as the song contained age-sensitive lyrics.
Asanda was cast in the role of Tallulah in a stage production of Bugsy Malone in Hammersmith, London.
She also auditioned for the role of Little Red Riding Hood for the film Into The Woods but lost out to actress Lilla Crawford.
David Walliams has described her as 'phenomenal' while Alesha Dixon called her a 'freak of nature.'

Legends was written by Christopher Wortley, Laurell Barker and Roel Rats.
She says she loves singing the song because of its 'energetic rhythm' and thinks that the melody and lyrics come together to form a 'very beautiful and inspirational message.'

When is Eurovision: You Decide and what happens?
Eurovision: You Decide will see six hopefuls go head-to-head for the chance to represent the United Kingdom in May at the Eurovision final in Lisbon.
The annual deciding contest first aired in 2016 but similar formats ran since 1957, except for between 2011 and 2015 when the UK entrants were internally selected with the public having no say.
The competition will take place at the world-famous Brighton Dome, where ABBA stormed to victory at the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest with Waterloo.
The winner will be selected by a combination of the public vote and by a panel of industry experts who will be at the Brighton Dome to dish out their verdicts.
Eurovision: You Decide will be broadcast live on BBC Two on 7 February from 19:30.
