JAMIE O’Hara has opened up for the first time on his split with fiancée Elizabeth-Jayne Tierney – saying he’s quit dating.
The Celebrity Big Brother star revealed he is still “cut up” about ending things with her in December.
He told the Sun’s Bizarre column she was the first woman he properly loved since wife Danielle Lloyd, who he has three children with.
But playing for Essex side Billericay is helping him deal with the woes.
Jamie, 31, said: “I'm still really cut up about it at the moment. It's a really difficult situation because we've been together on and for three/four years and she's the first person that I loved after Danielle. It's been really difficult.
“It's not an easy situation because we've been through a lot together. It's not one you're going to get over easily. We've had a lot happen.
“Avoid women at the moment.
“It's really hard in the situation I'm in on the personal side but with my professional stuff, I've got loads of games coming up and I haven't really got time to mess around and go out and go clubbing.
“Til April I'm jam packed with football - probably a good thing."
Jamie and Elizabeth ended things after a string of arguments, as revealed by Bizarre.
He told the Sun their tumultulous relationship became too much for him and he had to end it before 2018 began.
Jamie said: “We were just having a hard time. It's quite difficult - we both have children. When I have my kids I concentrate on them. I do a lot of travelling with the boys and sometimes it can just get quite a lot for us.
“I'm at a position in my life where I just want to concentrate on work, concentrate on building a future for myself and the kids, and certain things we didn't see eye-to-eye on.
“She's incredible. She looks amazing. Got an amazing personality. It's just a tough one. I didn't want to go into 2018 just arguing and having drama.”
But Jamie defended his “friend” saying there is no problem.
The former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder added: “We're fine. We spoke about the whole situation and what happened. It got took out of context and it became something it didn't need to become.

“He was just trying to help out.
“First and foremost me and Glenn and friends. He's come round my house a few times. It's not a big deal.
“We were over before the Glenn stuff even happened.”
