“I'm a lifelong fan - I never miss it. I really want to be on it. I could be Alfie Moon.

“I'd be perfect for that role. I know I'm not an actor or a pro, but I could still do it.”

Kem may have some competition however, as Shane Richie, who played Alfie, confirmed he wanted to make his comeback later this year.

Speaking to The Sun Online he said he had no idea when it would happen but admitted he longed to return to Albert Square.

Kem’s comments come just weeks after The Sun revealed his ex-girlfriend Amber Davies was being lined up for a role in Coronation Street.

The stunning reality star, who’s been enjoying low key dates with Pete Wicks, was spotted at the show’s Manchester studios last month.

A TV insider said: “Amber had a secret meeting with the casting director on Corrie last week and things were looking promising.

“Her acting agent had set up the discussion and she came away from the mini-audition full of confidence and bosses certainly liked her.

“She’s been determined to get into acting ever since winning Love Island so it felt like a positive move.”

It could be an exciting move for 20-year-old Amber, who was recently forced to deny she’d taken drugs.

Amber insisted she had no idea what the items were and said in a statement: “I have never and would never take drugs, or knowingly be around people who do.

“That is not who I am.

“I’m fully aware that my supporters look up to me and the last thing I want is for people to think this is the type of thing I’d do.”

The Sun Online has contacted EastEnders for comment.
