George Michael’s boyfriend Fadi Fawaz reveals he’s selling the car late singer gave him for Christmas
GEORGE Michael’s boyfriend Fadi Fawaz has revealed he’s selling the car the late singer gave him for Christmas.
The Australian born singer, who dated George from 2009 up until his death in 2016, told fans the memories the car brought back to him were “too much to handle”.
He wrote: “Selling my car that George gave me as Xmas gift ( I will put a picture of it later) so if anyone interested let me know pls. X
“I have not mentioned the surprise that comes with the car:).
“The reason I’m selling is because of lots of memories in my car with George listening to our favourite songs him singing in the car ect ect ect . It’s all a bit much to handle x (sic)."
Fadi was sleeping in his car on Christmas Eve 2016, the night of George’s death.
He discovered George’s body in the morning and called the police.
He said in a statement at the time: “We were supposed to be going for Christmas lunch. I went round there to wake him up and he was just gone, lying peacefully in bed.
“We don’t know what happened yet. Everything had been very complicated recently, but George was looking forward to Christmas, and so was I.”

He later tweeted: "It's a xmas i will never forget finding your partner dead peacefully in bed first thing in the morning.. I will never stop missing you xx"
It was reported he had been banned from the funeral by the singer's family, but Fadi was seen arriving at Highgate Cemetery in North London on March 29.
Michael’s 'cousin' Andros Georgiou had initially said: “Fadi has not been invited to the funeral. He is not welcome, the family hate him. Heaven help him if he turned up. Fadi was not really his boyfriend.”
It was reported that although he made the funeral, he was not allowed at the wake.
