The seventh series of Homeland returns with Carrie Mathison working against the President

Yes, the seventh series of this drama opens on a familiar note… Our hero Carrie (Claire Danes, right) is working against the President, who’s jailed people illegally because she’s paranoid following the assassination attempt on her.
But Carrie has problems of her own – she’s staying with her sister, who’s concerned she’s on the verge of a breakdown.

Until a violent, dark ending, it’s a slow start, but fans will love it and anyone watching will want to know what happens next…

The sunset that’s being held is Phil (Cleese, right) and Edith’s (Steadman), whose twilight years are interrupted by a returning grown-up son. A fun watch.
