MARRIED At First Sight viewers were left smitten as an unlucky-in-love contestant married a man she'd never met before - who turned out to be a millionaire.
The controversial Channel 4 show arrived back on screen for a new series and paired up quantity surveyor Ben, 36, and police officer Stephanie, 32, thanks to their scientific methods.

While both experienced jitters ahead of their wedding, viewers were hooked as the pair appeared to be a match made in heaven.
This included them singing Foreigner’s I Want To Know What Love Is at the top of their lungs at their respective hen and stag dos – which were taking place before they’d even met.
Committed to the idea of going through with the marriage, Ben, 36, had even got the wedding date tattooed on him.
After a nerve-wracking final few moments saw the wedding start 45 minutes late, they finally met at the altar, and even Ben’s sceptical parents couldn’t deny that there was immediate chemistry between the two.

During the show, Stephanie, 32 admitted she'd been engaged a number of times but refused to say how many fiances she'd had.
Ben was left heartbroken after his relationship of 12 years broke down when his fiancee ran away to Greece with another man.
Just hours after their wedding, the pair were seen snogging before agreeing to share the honeymoon suite together – and fans were left in tears at how quickly the pair seemed to connect.
One wrote: “ was actually lovely - if Ben and Steph don't make it tho, I've no idea what I'll do (my guilty pleasures are now this and First Dates... odd)”

While another said: “I don’t want to watch any more #MarriedAtFirstSight in case Ben and Stephanie split up. I hope they buck the trend and last the course.”

Another viewer got himself into a tricky situation as they revealed: “Pregnant wife is in floods of tears when they got married .. I've got a tear in my eye aswell .. ffs sniff #MarriedAtFirstSight”
While viewers will have to wait to see how the pair get on as husband and wife, it appears that the pair are still close five months on - after appearing on This Morning together to chat about the show.
Despite their appearance and revealing they were still married, the pair kept viewers guessing as to whether or not they're heading for a divorce by keeping off their wedding bands.

While Ben and Steph got off to a good start, not everyone got a happy ending by the end of the episode – as fellow love matches Wayne and Carrie failed to even make it up the aisle.
Wayne pulled out of the show with just weeks to go after getting cold feet about what he was getting himself into.
