Matt Le Blanc: ‘I’ll be sticking with Top Gear for the foreseeable future’
The former Friend's star is back in the driving seat for the 25th series of the hit show

Spectacular sequences of powerful supercars mixed with the presenters playing it for laughs has become Top Gear’s trademark over the years.
And the 25th series will not disappoint, taking viewers, in one film, on a hunt for Big Foot in the Northern Californian woods.
“That was my favourite adventure,” reveals Matt LeBlanc, 50, who returns for his third series as host.
“You take two guys – one believer and one sceptic – and send them to find Big Foot.
"It lends itself to a fun idea for a film.
“I push through the jokes. That’s my thing. Chris [Harris] is all about the stats, and Rory [Reid] is sort of in the middle, so you get a good balance.”
Inevitably, although Matt, Chris and Rory have settled into their Top Gear roles, viewers will still compare the show – and the three hosts – to how it was when Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May presented it.
“The reception for our show’s been pretty good. People who don’t like it, are they gonna come to my face and say it sucks? They might shout that from across the street, but I’m kinda deaf!” laughs Matt.
“I’m not a host. I’m an actor playing the part of a presenter. Is it really me you see on Top Gear?
Probably not. It’s the ‘me’ that suits the film we’re making.”
And he’ll be sticking around for the foreseeable future…
“I’m not looking for other projects,” he says. “Spielberg’s not calling, let’s be honest!”
Top Gear, Sunday, 8pm, BBC Two
