Janette Beverley, 51, is a British actress.
She first appeared on screen as Elaine Pollard in Coronation Street in 1984.
It was on the set of the soap that she met ex-husband Michael Le Vell who plays Kevin Webster.
In 2011 she underwent chemotherapy for breast cancer.

In 1984, after leaving Coronation Street, Janette Beverley starred in the comedy series Sharon and Elsie.
She became well known for her portrayal of the character Sharon Wilkes who she played alongside Brigit Forsyth (Elsie Beecroft).
Janette also played herself in the 1984 TV series Hold Tight.
She later played Sister Diane Meadows in the medical series Childrens' Ward from 1989-1996.
In 1990 she appeared in an episode of ITV drama Coasting about a family run theme park in Blackpool.
