Charlotte Ritchie, 29, was born August 29, 1989 and is a British actress.
She started her career with minor roles, which included being a student in the 2005 film Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Charlotte shot to fame in 2011 in the coming of age comedy Fresh Meat, where she played Oregon.
After this she played Hannah in the hilarious BBC comedy Siblings.
In 2015 she landed the role of Nurse Barbara in the smash hit TV series Call the Midwife.
But in 2018 she quit the role because she felt she would become "too complacent" if she didn't.
How did Charlotte's character Nurse Barbara die in Call The Midwife's Nurse Barbara?
Charlotte character Nurse Barbara died on episode 7 of series 7 shown on March 4, 2018.
She had contracted meningitis in the previous episode.
Her condition in the latest episode then quickly deteriorated after the infection caused Septicemia.
At first it looked like she was going to pull through, but then she suddenly took a turn for the worse.
Nurse Barbara was with her vicar husband Tom and her best friend Phyllis as she passed away.
