Married At First Sight fans predicted Ben’s marriage to Steph was destined for divorce months before they announced their split
MARRIED At First Sight fans knew Ben's marriage to Steph was doomed from the start when they spotted warning signs that showed they were heading for divorce.
The couple decided to stay together at the end of last week's final - but just eight days later they have confirmed they are getting a divorce.

During the final episode, Ben headed off to Portugal on a business trip and Steph was stressing out because he didn't call her in two days.
Some fans declared that not bothering to get in touch with his wife while he was away was a clear indicator of Ben's frosty feelings towards Steph.
One Married At First Sight viewer pointed out: "Stephanie - no message, IS A MESSAGE #MarriedatFirstSight."
Steph and Ben decided to stay marriedBen also said his wife is "too insecure, too smothering sometimes..."
Another fan warned that Ben taking time out so early was not a good sign
They wrote: "If Ben needs time away this soon then it doesn't look good for a future together. #MarriedAtFirstSight."
Ben later attempted to save their rocky marriage by whisking his wife away for a make-or-break holiday in Cypress.
During a tense dinner, Steph confronted him over his coldness towards her since they got back from honeymoon.
She was left in floods of tears at the table as Ben shrugged off her concerns.
After telling him that sometimes after a hard day she "needs a cuddle" Ben looked stern as he snapped back: "What if I don't want to kiss you, what if I don't want to cuddle you?"
Despite all the niggles, they decided to try to make the marriage work and announced at the end of the show that they will be staying married.
It was later revealed they were no longer living together and viewers were adamant that was a clear sign that Ben was preparing to ditch his bride.
One tweeted: "Married but not living together?!?!? Won’t last...#MarriedAtFirstSight."
Another wrote: "What? They’re not living together? No wonder he’s happy. He’s stringing her along “mate!”#MarriedAtFirstSight."
A third added: "#MarriedAtFirstSight lol! they aren't even living together! No wonder Ben looks so happy! Stephanie just looks grateful."
Another nasty moment came when Stephanie woke up one day to discover Ben had got up and gone out, leaving his wedding ring on the bedside table.
The police officer fought back tears as she revealed how much the gesture had hurt her.
Other fans pointed out that it took the couple a long time to switch phone numbers, and Steph still didn't have her husband's contact details until after they came back from honeymoon.
Ben broke the divorce news last night.
Speaking to FuBar Radio's Stephen Leng and Lizzie Cundy he said: "Stephanie and I are still friends but I couldn’t give her what she wanted and what she needed, and time is of the essence.

"And why waste someone’s time if it’s not there?"He added: "It killed me. After the end of the show we were giving it a go, but as my mum said, you don’t know someone until you've lived with them."
Ben explained: "It broke my heart to do what I had to do, I couldn’t give someone so lovely and so nice what she wanted.
"She was gutted to be totally honest and she still wanted to try, but it ain't there, kiddo."
