LENA Dunham has emerged as the "favourite" star to have bitten Beyonce's face.
In the biggest whodunit since EastEnders fans were left asking who killed Lucy Beale, fans of Queen Bey all over the globe are desperate to know which celebrity had a nibble on one of the most famous faces in the world.
The furore started earlier this week when comedian Tiffany Haddish told a number of US outlets that the Single Ladies singer had been bitten on the face at a party in December last year.
The hashtag, #WhoBitBeyonce is now trending online and it has lead bookmakers Paddy Power to draw up a shortlist of stars who could have done it, with Girls creator Lena Dunham coming out on top with odds of 2/1.
While the bookies has no hard evidence to back this up or in fact claim it was any of the women listed, Lena is closely followed by Sanaa Lathan at 7/2, even though she has denied the claims.
Gwyneth Paltrow is next at 6/1 while fellow actresses Scarlett Johansson and Jennifer Lawrence have odds of 8/1 and 16/1 respectively.
Twitter is also speculating it could be Amy Schumer - who has odds of 22/1 - or Lindsay Lohan who sits at 40/1.
Beyonce has declined to comment on the biting drama, with her spokesperson telling GQ: "I absolutely cannot comment on any of this, as I have no knowledge."
The short statement followed Tiffany's interviews with , , and US Weekly.
The Girls Trip actress, 38, told the latter that “something had went down” with Beyonce, 36, at the afterparty of Jay-Z’s concert in Inglewood last December.
Tiffany later explained to TV One’s Uncensored that the unnamed actress "stepped up" to Beyonce after she had “touched Jay-Z’s chest,” which had left Queen Bey less than impressed.
Tiffany said: "There was this actress there, that’s just, like, doing the mostest. One of the most things she did? She bit Beyoncé in the face.”

She continued: "So Beyoncé stormed away, went up to Jay-Z, and was like, ‘Jay! Come here! This b***h—’ and snatched him.
"They went to the back of the room. I was like, ‘What just happened?’ And Beyoncé’s friend walked up and was like, ‘Can you believe this b***h just bit Beyoncé?’ ”
“And so then…,” she continues, “a lot of things happened.”
