Patsy Palmer reveals she home schools kids Fenton, 17, and Emilia, 16 and ‘isn’t bothered if they go to college’
The LA-based teenagers are focusing on their acting and modelling careers
PATSY Palmer has revealed she homeschools kids Fenton, 17 and Emilia, 16, so the pair can focus on their careers in modelling and acting.
Speaking in a new interview, the ex-EastEnders star said: "They don't really like school anyway, I hated it when I was a kid, so I'm never going to push them."
Instead of school, the kids study classes online so they can have the flexibility to attend acting lessons and auditions.
Patsy adds: "It’s so far to go anyway. If they have a casting in the day it’s going to be hard for them to get there."
Emilia told the magazine she didn't believe she had to "go to college to have a good job."
Londoner Patsy agrees with her daughter's view, telling magazine: "They're very creative - I feel like there's a lot more they could be doing outside of school, anyway."
Patsy, who famously played Bianca Butcher on the BBC1 soap until 2014, is even up for her kids starring in a reality show although not with "horrible fighting like the Kardashians."
The clan are certainly in the right place - having upped sticks and moved to Los Angeles four years ago along with Patsy's husband Richard Merkell and their other son Bertie, seven.
Fenton has had success as a male model while sister Emilia is signed to the same agency.
The teen has also been romantically linked to Cindy Crawford's model daughter Kaia Gerber.

Patsy's other son Charley Palmer Rothwell remained in the UK where he is focusing on a blossoming acting career.
So far he's starred in movies like iBoy opposite Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams, as well as appearing in blockbuster Dunkirk.
The actor will be familiar to UK viewers as Baz from Our Girl, as well as a role opposite Tom Hardy in Legend.
Fellow Londoner Stacey Solomon recently revealed she had taken her sons Zachary and Leighton out of mainstream school.
Speaking in her exclusive column for the Sun Online, Stacey said she made the decision after noticing her son was 'losing parts of his personality' because of school.
Stacey revealed: 'Homeschooling has always been at the back of my mind, because whenever I am with the boys and we are out in different environments their senses heighten and their enthusiasm to learn is at its best.'
However, the Loose Women star was left on the verge of tears as she revealed cruel trolls had branded her “too dumb” to homeschool her children.
