OUT OF HER HANDS

Ferne McCann ‘forced to take baby Sunday on eight-hour round trip to see acid attack thug Arthur Collins in prison’

Devoted mum reportedly made the trek with daughter to visit her ex after he exercised his legal rights

FERNE McCann has reportedly been forced to take her baby daughter to visit her acid attacker dad in jail after he exercised his legal rights to see her.

The former Towie star had to do an eight hour round-trip with baby daughter Sunday Rose after Arthur Collins pressed for the visit, claims the .

The reality star has been moving on with her life and previously vowed her ex would never see Sunday again after visiting him at Belmarsh prison in South London when their daughter was just two weeks old.

But it is now out of her hands as Collins reportedly took legal action and Ferne, 27, had to make the 440-mile round trip from Essex to see him at Full Sutton, York.

Collins, 25, is serving a 20 year sentence for throwing acid at clubbers in East London last year, leaving 16 members of the public with serious burns.

A source claimed: “Ferne sought legal and professional advice, and it was a difficult decision she had to make."

The source continued: "It has been a bitter pill to swallow. But she knows this is what her life will be like now, whether she likes it or not."

Ferne recently spoke out about the decision to allow Arthur access to his daughter.

She added: "I’m with Sunday every day of her life and she is my number one priority. I am doing this so she can make her own choice when she’s older, rather than me forcing it on her now.

"I hope it is the right decision, and I think it is. Having accepted that position, I also had to accept I would probably need to see Arthur again.

“If Arthur has to see Sunday, then I want absolute control of the situation. If she is going into a prison I want to be with her and know she’s OK. I’m not going to just drop her off and hope for the best."

Ferne said she decided to speak about the situation to silence rumours the pair are still in a relationship.

She said: “Arthur and his family will always be in my life because we have a child. But I don’t know how people can possibly think Arthur and I are still together. There is no way back.

“I don’t think people realised the impact Arthur’s actions had on me as they were rightly more concerned with those that were physically hurt that night. Those actions have made the last 12 months of my life horrendous.”
