Kylie Minogue finally moves on from painful split, as she grows close to hunky executive

KYLIE MINOGUE is on a roll – after bagging her first No1 album in eight years, she has also grown close to a hunky media exec.
The pop princess has been spending plenty of time with Paul Solomons, the creative director of men’s mag GQ.
Paul, is helping to heal the Aussie’s broken heart, 14 months after her painful split from actor Joshua Sasse.
A source said: “Kylie is in no rush to get into a serious relationship but she’s certainly enjoying the attention.
“It’s no secret she was left feeling very bruised and vulnerable after her break-up.
"She needed time by herself to get over it.
"Now she feels ready to move on.
“Kylie and Paul were introduced by mutual friends in the industry in February and Paul has been quietly supporting her comeback.
"Both are keen to keep their close friendship under wraps.”
Paul, who has been around some of the most stunning women in showbiz, was previously pictured alongside the likes of Lana Del Rey, Bella Hadid and Cara Delevingne.
The timing couldn’t be better for Kylie, much of whose country-inspired album Golden was written about her bitter break-up with Joshua.
While on the comeback trail, the singer revealed how the demise of her three-year relationship last February — amid rumours of Joshua’s infidelity — caused her to have a “nervous breakdown”.
But she insisted she hadn’t given up on finding love, saying: “I think it’s good to be hopeful. Who knows what is going to happen?”
Last month she hinted she was back in the dating game, revealing: “It’s a minefield but it’s definitely worth it.
"Right now, I’m just fine, let’s say.”
The source added: “Kylie is back to her happy self.
"She is enjoying life and spending time with Paul and is hopeful as to what the future might hold.”
But no one should be buying a hat just yet — as Kylie earlier this month appeared to rule out getting married.
She said: “I know people often like to paint me as a bit of a failure in that department but maybe it’s not my destiny yet to have met The One.”
Last night, a representative for Kylie said: “We don’t have any comment.”
Camila's Madge-ic touch
CAMILA CABELLO is hands-up killing it on her first solo tour . . . channelling Madonna in her Eighties pomp with this pair of fingerless gloves.
Strutting her stuff in Oakland, California, the Cuban-American put her girl-group past firmly behind her, making her Fifth Harmony days seem a distant memory as latest single Never Be The Same Again became the first platinum-seller of the year.
I’ll be raiding the vintage markets for my own fingerless gloves when the tour reaches our shores in June.
Rita's Rearing to go at Coachella
CALIFORNIA festival Coachella brought celebs out in force in their skimpiest outfits . . . or in Justin Bieber's case, a lurid shirt last seen on “utterly brilliant!” Eighties star Timmy Mallett.
Rita Ora went for a throwback outfit too, in cheeky chaps reminiscent of Christine Aguilera's Dirrty era.
She didn’t hit a bum note during her solo performance – or when she joined dance star Kygo on stage in place of Bieber’s ex Selena Gomez.
Kylie Jenner pulled on a pink wig and left two-month-old baby Stormi at home, tweeting she was a “cool mom, not a regular mom”.
Lottie Moss, Alessandra Ambrosio and Brooklyn Beckham's new squeeze Lexi Wood each added a touch of pout power to proceedings.
I wonder how many of them managed to put down their phones and catch some music . . .
COUNTRY duo The Shires' new album was given oomph by a fling singer Crissie Rhodes had with a songwriter in Nashville.
He provided inspiration for the title track from Crissie and Ben Earle's third album Accidentally On Purpose, which is released on Friday.
Crissie told me: “It was hilarious – I only knew the guy for two weeks and he got this whole song written after him.”
Taylor Swift would surely approve.
Laura Minds the gap
LAURA JACKSON says she’s been a victim of the gender pay-gap – after three of her male co-hosts got paid more than her.
The telly presenter is currently working on BBC’s new game show Ready Or Not with Paddy McGuiness – has previously been paired with Mark Wright and Nick Grimshaw on TV shows.
Laura told me: “There have been more than three occasions where I have known my male counterpart is paid more.
“The first time it happened was a few years ago. The presenter accidentally told me, then said, ‘Please don’t say anything’.”
Fortunately she’s not keeping quiet now.
Ian wants youth Beck
IAN WRIGHT played football into his late thirties and he is determined to hold back the years as a pundit too.
The Arsenal legend swears by a trendy jade face massager to keep that youthful glow.
The Hayo’u Beauty Restorer has a long waiting list after endorsements from the likes of Trinny Woodall and Meg Matthews.
A source said: “Ian has taken a leaf out of the books of David Beckham and Cristinao Ronaldo and invests in his skincare regime.
"He also loves a long soak in the bath with relaxing salts.
"He’s embracing his feminine side.”
Beats the post-match team bath.
