When is Avengers: Endgame released in the UK?

Avengers: Endgame will hit the cinemas across the UK on April 25, 2019.

It is the second part of Avengers: Infinity War which was released a year before on April 26, 2018.

Marvel strategically always places a release date for this franchise in April with The Avengers released April 26, 2012, and Avengers: Age of Ultron out on April 23, 2015.

Endgame is expected to run for a whopping three hours and two minutes, making it the longest film of the franchise so far.

The latest trailer sees Tony Stark bid farewell as he runs out of oxygen while the remaining superheroes try to come out with a game plan.

In an unexpected twist, we see both Ant-man and Black Panther's genius sister Shuri as missing on screens.

What characters have been killed off in Avengers: Endgame?

WARNING: Contains spoilers from Infinity War.

Despite the massacre at the end of Infinity War, most of the characters are expected to return in Endgame.

Those who were killed off were Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Heimdall (Idris Elba) and Vision (Paul Bettany).

Though it's not been confirmed that they definitely won't be making an appearance.

Those who survived Thanos' mass killing will definitely return: Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Okoye (Danai Gurira), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), War Machine (Don Cheadle), Nebula (Karen Gillan), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Captain America (Chris Evans) and Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper).

Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) is also set to return, along with The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) and Michelle Pfeiffer (the other Wasp).

Our new baddie Thanos (Josh Brolin) will also be back to terrorise.

Hawkeye, played by Jeremy Renner, was notably the only original Avengers member to be absent from Infinity War and is expected to be in Endgame.

What is the plot of Avengers: Endgame?

The film follows directly on from Infinity War but will depart even further from the original Marvel comics.

Tony Stark is adrift in space with no food or water so sends a message to Pepper Potts as his oxygen gets low.

Thor, Black Widow, Captain America, and Bruce Banner are searching for a way to bring back their defeated allies for a final showdown with the evil Thanos.
