Tracey Breaks The News, 9.30pm, BBC One
Tracey Ullman returns for this spin-off from her self-titled sketch show.
It focuses on her political characters, and is filmed and edited up until the day of broadcast.
Ullman’s uncanny knack for embodying household names is showcased as she impersonates Michael Gove (right).
Another male politician returning is Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, who has an awkward meeting with an old friend in this opening episode.
Elsewhere, German Chancellor Angela Merkel wants to jazz up her image, and Prime Minister Theresa May returns.
Gogglebox, 9pm, Channel 4
Tonight will be the first chance the best TV critics in the country (apart from our Ally Ross, that is) will have to impart their views on Harry and Meghan’s wedding last week.
So what did Izzie and Ellie (l-r) make of that glorious dress? And did the vows reduce Mary and Giles to tears? Most probably.
Friday Night Dinner, 10pm, Channel 4
Mum has made Adam agree to play the violin for Grandma, who’s coming round for dinner.
For actor Simon Bird (left), this week’s plot took him back to his childhood.
“I gave up playing the violin at school, so this was the first time I’ve picked up the instrument in
13 years,” he told TV Mag.
Prepare for some screeching and plenty of laughs.
The Bridge, 9pm, BBC Two
Saga (Sofia Helin, left) continues to attend her therapy sessions, but doesn’t believe they’re really helping her.
Still, she has work to get on with when there’s another murder at the hospital in Malmo and it dawns on her that not only are they connected, but they’re likely to continue.
Meanwhile, Henrik (Thure Lindhardt, right) tries to find the girls after they run away from his house,
but bumps into a familiar drug dealer.
Say Yes To The Dress UK, 9pm, TLC
The best bridal show on the box returns and designer David Emanuel (above) is back on the shop floor of a bridal store in Essex as more brides-to-be attempt to find the perfect gown.
Love Island’s Jess and Dom, who ‘got hitched’ in swimwear on Good Morning Britain, feature later in the series.
